Project Brief

4 cm drone imagery with 15 cm DEM/DTM

GSPEA carried out a drone-based topographic survey for Mott MacDonald Pakistan at Havelian, pairing aerial capture with ground control.

The team collected GCPs and delivered 4 cm drone imagery with 15 cm DEM and DTM products for engineering design.

The work was completed in February 2023 as part of the wider project survey package.

Centimetre-class surface models for design

Engineers received a dense, current surface model instead of relying solely on coarser satellite elevation data.

High-resolution imagery and elevation products support cut-fill, drainage, and detailed site design.
